Pipeline corrosion and abrasion protection are the domain of pipeline contractors. These experienced companies deliver high value to customers by providing solutions relating to damaged pipelines and pipeline liner failures. They enable companies to protect their assets and bottom lines. At HEBNA, we provide high quality pipeline corrosion solutions using high tech, state-of-the-art services and materials.
Advancements In Pipeline Corrosion Control
For years compression-fit HDPE polymer liners have been a cost-effective tool to control internal corrosion in ferrous pipelines. Recent advancements in materials, equipment and technologies have broadened polymer liner capabilities into areas previously inaccessible or impractical for polymer liner use.
This webinar will provide you with a better understanding of recent advancements and provide you with cost-effective solutions to better control corrosion in your pipeline assets. Covered topics will include:
- Different types of polymer liner materials, material advancements and the broadened technical envelop
- Condition assessment of previously installed polymer lining systems
- Condition assessment of the host pipe behind the polymer liner
- New applications made possible by these advancements such as PHMSA regulated pipelines
- Case studies

Congratulations to Joe Lane and Roberto Ogarrio for presenting their fine paper to the 2016 No-Dig Show in Dallas, TX in March 2016. The paper identifies 8 key elements required of an integrity management program. It also enlightening in its depiction of of how a resourceful team overcomes unprecedented obsticles on such a large urban/suburban/rural trenchless project. Congratulations to HEBNA staff, and the owner operator, for making this project a big success. Many people I have spoken to feel the project is a strong contender for Trenchless Project of the Year.
NASTT’s E-News published “Using Compressive-fit HDPE to Rehabilitate a 70-year-old Crude Oil Pipeline Traversing 55 miles of Urban, Suburban and Rural Settings” as Paper of the Week on April 21, 2016. HEBNA website visitors may read it for free.
